i'm not catholic, nor am i even christian.

but it takes a hell of a person to shoulder the spiritual weight of how many hundreds of millions of religious people. in the last few years, his head was always bent, and his shoulders drooping, and i would think about that burden he bears, and how it seemed like you could physically see it weighing him down.

i have a great deal of respect for a man who willingly takes on a weight like that, and then holds it aloft for 26 long years.

he deserves this much needed rest. i hope his next life is as fulfilling and positive as this one has been.

so god speed, and god bless Pope John Paul II.

so yesterday i turned 25. it wasn't a very good birthday, as i spent most of it watching headline news, wondering the fate of the pope.

i'm going to be celebrating my b-day in a couple weeks, going out of town to do some go-kart racing for a day. i'm looking forward to that with much anticipation.

long time! well, shits been happening, but i've just not posted.

all i've really got to say for now is that ya'll can expect photos soon, as i'm on holiday in HOLLYWOOD for about a week.

yeah, it's in the 80's here (and cold as hell back home) and i'll be laying by the pool within the hour.
